About Gritty Fish Crossfit
Dave Lussenhop, a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer, learned about this craziness from his in-laws Angie and Kevin. They opened up this weird door of doing burpees, pull-ups, and squats in his driveway. He and his wife Jen decided to give it a shot in Washburn and have loved running The Gritty Fish.
Kevin Hatch, a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer, is originally from St. Louis. We're lucky this nomad landed in our area. He splits his time between the Gritty Fish and Mississippi River boats. We prefer having him at the Gritty Fish.
Tyler Olson, A Crossfit Level 1 Trainer and Physical therapist at wilson physical therapy. Born & bred in washburn, lover of country music & king of the double unders. Many of us are gunning to beat tyler in a workout.
Scott Armstrong, a crossfit level 1 trainer. Formally, an ivy league college rower and coach, we are lucky to have him, even though with his height advantage, he can climb a rope in a single pull.
Kim Johanik, a crossfit level 1 trainer. A Washburn native, Kim came back home to advance her career in the education field. in addition to never missing a workout, she is also our resident competitor and competition recruiter.
Mollie Carrier, a crossfit level 1 trainer, Bayfield's Seagull Bay Motel owner, hairstylist, and all around awesome person joined the Gritty Fish in December of 2017. She brings plenty of prior crossfit experience.
Isaac Carrier, crossfit level 1 trainer. He is the other half of the Carrier clan. formerly a firefighter, he came back home to Bayfield to run the Seagull Bay Motel.
